Flour to the People! - Pizza

Welcome to Flour to the People! - Pizza, a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Battersea, London. Located at 573 Battersea Park Road, this establishment champions the art of Neapolitan sourdough pizza, bringing together quality ingredients and traditional baking techniques to create a memorable dining experience.

At Flour to the People! - Pizza, the menu is a celebration of artisanal craftsmanship. Each pizza is handcrafted to order, ensuring that every bite reflects their commitment to flavor and quality. The use of a signature sourdough starter results in a perfectly thin, crispy base that serves as the perfect canvas for an array of delectable toppings.

  • Neapolitan Sourdough Pizza: Their classic offering features a harmonious blend of tomato, mozzarella fior di latte, and prosciutto cotto, all stone-baked to perfection. The freshness of ingredients shines through, making every mouthful a delight.
  • Calzones: If you're in the mood for something unique, the Calzone Rustico or Calzone Dolce are must-tries. These baked pockets are filled with rich, flavorful ingredients and topped with aromatic herbs that elevate the classic Italian dish to new heights.
  • Vegan Specials: Flour to the People! - Pizza caters wonderfully to plant-based diners, offering options like Vegan Bianca and Vegan Sinfonia, loaded with vibrant vegetables and vegan cheese that doesn't compromise on flavor.

Beyond pizza, the café also offers refreshing salads, gourmet dips, and a selection of drinks, including organic sodas and carefully curated wines. These thoughtful touches enhance the casual yet inviting atmosphere, making it an excellent spot for lunch or a casual evening out.

However, reviews about this popular venue have been mixed. While some patrons rave about their exceptional pizzas — highlighting the remarkable sourdough crust and the vibrant marinara — others express dissatisfaction, citing issues with sogginess or heavy toppings. Despite these varying opinions, it is clear that the café has garnered a loyal following, proving that many customers still find joy in what they serve.

If you find yourself in Battersea, don’t miss the chance to visit Flour to the People! - Pizza. With its focus on high-quality, handcrafted pizza and a relaxing dining experience, it stands as a testament to the love of Italian cuisine in London. Whether you’re a pizza aficionado or simply looking for a satisfying meal, this café promises to deliver flavors that are sure to linger long after your last bite.

This place has amazing pizzas, breads and desserts. Me and my husband have been here twice for pizza. It was so good that I thought I will write review but the pizza didn't last that long. We ordered our separate pizzas on both our visits and managed to finish it. They do sourdough crust pizzas and the marinara is excellent. I was able to take pictures on our second visit. Their millionaire shortbread which is out of this world! (on the house). The staff is very helpful and friendly. We had Hassan serving us and he was very hospitable. The word is that the brunch is really good too. So hoping to go for brunch next time...

Worse pizza I’ve ever had. Was so sloppy. The topping too heavy for the thin base and all the toppings fall off as you cut the pizza. Not only did I not enjoy my pizzas on Sunday night, it also gave me food poisoning.I’m really chocked because I remember ordering here in and i loved it but it’s totally changed and I’ll no longer be ordering.

Tiny restaurant, which is absolutely rammed for breakfast/brunch, but you don’t have to physically queue, you can leave your number and the restaurant will give you a call when space is available. Both times I’ve been we’ve shared a table with other people, but it’s a buzzy atmosphere and everyone’s friendly, so it’s not an issue at all, just maybe don’t come in with a buggy or bulky luggage - it’s already all very full.I had the pancakes, which were very good, and tried the avocado on toast with poached eggs, which was really exceptional. Also excellent hot chocolate.Friendly service too.Food: /Ambience: /Service: /
